Elmwood, Ne. Just East of Lincoln | Have a neighbor that is running a 7810 on a 12 row 1760 for the first time. Was on a Case MX2something previously. Planter has vac and hydraulic drive along with markers and of course up and down. He's running hydraulic drive on a power beyond, vac on remote 3, markers on 2. Says he can only run 3.5 mph planting beans at 165,000 pop. Slow lifting on the ends. Will this combo work or does hydraulic drive require that much oil? I would think while going through the field wound up it should have capacity to keep the vac and drive running. I don't have hydraulic drive experience but have run Deere vacs since there conception. I would have thought the tractor could handle it. Anyone run this combination or will it not work? If it should work we will start digging deeper. Thanks |
