southern MN | A love letter from someone I knew from school. Not to me.
Two pages from a bond age magazine. Was glossy heavy stock paper. I read the article.
A dollar bill on the most remote field I have from any road.
A half an ox shoe.
Some heavy metal bars I dug up with the plow. Dad said he always wondered where they fell off the disk, he looked for years to find them, was using them for weight on the disk.
A number of tools, in various states of rust.
One year I lost a gauge wheel on the old old Case mounted planter. We had one for parts so bolted another on, never could find the gauge wheel I lost. You would think.... Two years later was planting in the field and it pulled the tractor over to the side. The row marker hooked the gauge wheel and bent the frame of the planter a little.
