Subject: SDS - Early Planting - Heavy rains

South Central Illinois

Some have mentioned on NAT in the past that "a cold wet spell 72 hours after soybeans are planted" causes the start of the SDS infection.

What is the general accepted path to seedling infection with the SDS pathogen?

There is a 12 day wet spell in the Forecast.

Just wondering what to expect.
