Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Jon, Southern NE here and we are getting pretty dry. Even the summer fallow wheat is starting to see a few blue areas. Supposed to rain later this weekend and we are also supposed to be 45 for the HIGH on Friday? Huh? A little early planted corn coming up already. Some guys are done. Some won't start until the 1st of May, including me. 33 degrees this morning. Our wheat is far enough along I probably wouldn't want to see temps much below 27 or so now. We could see some heads before the 10th of May. |
