N FLA | My grass traps are 4 acres. I have 5 with a 1/4 acre pen in the center.
Today I have 6 in one trap that I bought 3 weeks ago. They were castrated and vaccinated the week I bought them. There are 60 calves in the other trap. They have 2 more rorltations and they will all be in the same trap.
If I buy new calves I will hold them in a trap until I have 10. Then work them and try to keep them in a small group 21 days. Easier to sort if I need to pull one.
Edit. I would be lost if they were in 80 or 160 acre trap.
