Side question.....Who wears them in tractors?
I do, sometimes, depending on the terrain and the operation. Over the course of a day, on a very bumpy operation, it's feels much easier on the back to be strapped in (tight!) to the air seat and let it's suspension do it's job, instead of my vertebrae.
