NW KS | Do you leave your phone where it could possibly get metal shavings from grinding or filing on metal parts on it? It doesn't take much to get the speaker full of metal shaving since the speaker is magnetic. When I had this happen the sounds level dropped and then the speaker quite totally. I used to charge my phone on or near the work bench in the shop but have stopped doing this and haven't had a problem since. | |
