Adelaide Hills, South Australia | Hi all, I am feeding a friends cows so he can have some days off and the remote lever that runs the elevator for his jaylor mixer is stuck in float. I had the elevator moving and had to stop it and it went into float when I restarted and now it won't come out. I have wriggled it and pulled as hard as I dare and it is stuck tight. I swapped remotes to feed tonight but need to get it working for the weekend. The owner has no idea.
Are the linkages behind the plastic panels likely to be the problem or is there something by the actual valve that is problematic?
I'm a NH man myself and this tractor is very differently laid out. I have been helping him out occasionally for the last couple of years and replaced a battery and cleaned the radiator and a few other minor things but this one has me stumped. It might be easier in the daylight tomorrow. |
