There were a lot of non-show cows that we would have to shove around to get them to move. Bottle feeding calves is the difference. I have had some ET jersey calves that came out of beefers that were as stupid as a chi steer. I have a friend that has some beef cows. They are a bunch of char/Angus/Simmi cross cows that he bought cheap six years ago. Those things are stupid and what I want to avoid. Half the herd is runnin through the fence to kill you, the other half is running through the fence to get away from you. My father is in his seventies and still on the farm. I am looking to avoid that kind of cattle.
