KS and NE in eastern 3rd | When the guys who have been sitting on their hands saying they are waiting for a correction have exhausted all their savings because of hard times in the ag industry then the market will correct. For the most part the same families are always buying the land because they are willing to take the risk. Once the guys who are always waiting to buy it run out of money they are no longer there to push the actual buyers a little higher. I know there are exceptions but in my time of buying land this is what I have seen. If dad was always buying land then his kids just seem to pick up where he left off, if dad was always just a renter it seem like kids just follow in the same footsteps. | |
