Make sure that the minimum motor output is not so high that when you go to disengage the steering, by turning the wheel, you aren't "stripping" the motor. Also make sure that the gear is mounted square and doesn't wobble as well as making sure the roller bearings on the buckle are in the correct groove.
better yet do not wrestle it away by hand, use the onscreen button or a foot pedal to end steering. Much nicer at the end of the day on your arms and MUCH easier on the MDU. Some tractors and field conditions require this number to be pretty high to stay engaged, and that can be pretty hard on the gear. |
