NW Minnesota | I recently added a Dickey John rate controller (from AG Express) to my corn planter to VR dry fertilizer and monitor the seed sensors. My JD 2600 display that is in the planter tractor doesn't seem to be totally compatible with it. I also have a DJ rate controller (also from Ag Expess) on my strip till bar that VR's fertilizer and monitors blockage, that I put on last year and it worked fine with the same 2600 display. This year the tractor on the strip till bar has a 2630 and the 2600 is on the planter tractor and the new controller. The 2630 on the year old controller populates the equipment tab and grays it out as a "planter". The new controller does not do this, which indicates that the display will not control the rates. My JD ams guy says I can switch monitors in the tractor but I would rather not do this. Anyone have any suggestions? TIA | |
