They're all fresh meat and vegetables sent with cold packs as fresh as you can get from the corner store. The idea of them is to eat heathier. It might be about the freshest least preservative food you can buy. It costs money and time to eat healthy. For what you get it's a pretty good deal. Most americans are too lazy to eat right. And by looking around it appears they just don't care either.




We were surprised to find out the same thing, at least from the place we are using.  It is more expensive, but its good quality fresh food and now my Aunt is eating better than when we did the shopping and she did her own cooking.  We have to do a INR test on her blood every few days.  The quality of what she eats makes a huge difference on the test results - kind of a eye-opener to me.
