I almost always take apples in a cooler with food. you can eat with one hand and throw out (or eat) the core. Bad part is I am fussy about my apples. the have to crunchy/crispy. anyone that works for me knows, we stop for meals or coffee. If 10 minutes is gonna kill us, we've got bigger problems
