Subject: Cheapest accurate lightbar guidance for Polaris Ranger

Central Michigan
Just like the title says, whats the cheapest way I can put lightbar guidance on a Polaris Ranger? Looking to make our small plot research trial layout easier and don't really want to rob a monitor out of the tractors. We just need to measure 38' plot sections and there has to be something better than a tape measure or stringing out our premade cable with 38' marks. Probably only needs to be accurate within 8"-12" as I'm not sure the people running the tape or cable can get any better than that anyways. We have room for error because we do not harvest the whole plot length anyways.
