Subject: EZ Steer going wild

NW Iowa
I bought a used EZ Steer two years ago and have used it for two seasons. I have had very little dealer support so I have had to learn by the seat of my pants. One of the problems I initially had was figuring out what their terms meant when it came to certain adjustments. It is on a 4650 Deere. I won't go into detail about all I have been through but last season I finally got it so I could successfully use it to plant. I have the globe ahead of the cab roof about 10" and slightly above the roof. It worked pretty well that way last season. This spring I put it on the field cultivator to clean up some field borders and the ez steer worked nice and smooth as long as the ground I was driving on was smooth but a couple of times out of the blue it would start weaving, growing on itself until I had to grab the steering wheel to settle it down. Also if the front wheels went over a rut the EZ Steer would tend to want to start weaving. I have the steering speed at a moderate to fairly slow speed and the response set back a bit. Last year when planting I needed to be lined up fairly straight before I kicked it in or it would weave a bit and on occasion would go out of control. The setup is measured in correctly for globe positioning and double checked. What adjustments can I play with or is this as good as it gets for this setup?

Oh, it's a 750.
