Subject: RE: Pricing Watershed Mapping

I would agree that LiDAR has gotten to the point that it is as accurate as RTK data collection. Every tile contractor should use RTK when plowing tile, so the maps that I offer are purely for folks wishing to understand the big picture. The reason the projects are priced the same no matter the size is that the watershed maps (spanning thousands of acres sometimes) will show the big picture while the contours show the in-field variation.

This map shows the field in question on the left, outlined in red with flowlines in the upland watershed. This was a mutual tiling project in which the landowner wanted to approach those upstream to see who wanted to eventually tile their fields so they could size the main correctly.
