NC Indiana | For our cattle show day, we make crock pot meals for a pitch in. We've been making sausage noodle casserole (our version - either a couple pounds of ground sausage of your choice or sliced smoke sausage, I think its 1 16 oz bag of egg noodles already cooked, a good melting cheese (loaf of Velveeta in our case), 2 small cans of cream of mushroom soup, and a little Thyme - this fills a 7 Qt crock pot), cheese hash browns with or without smoke sausage, the crock pot cobbler (cake mix and pie filling and butter) desert, homemade macaroni and cheese, meat balls with favorite bbq or make Swedish version, crack chicken, Italian beef, sloppy joes, monkey bread (chunked up cinnamon rolls then add icing) for breakfast. | |
