Subject: RE: induction cooktop

Blackstock, Ont
Old stove went 6 wks ago and we purchased induction; Samsung I believe. VERY SPENDY. Think we paid 3200. Reasonably pleased with cooktop and yes, I quite often place my frying pan on a piece of parchment when doing bacon. Placement of burners is not as I like it. Small pan will not work on big burner. Very easy to keep cooktop clean compared to conventional as cooktop does not get hot. The model we purchased has the option of using entire oven, top oven, or bottom oven. LOVE that option and didn't think I would.. Upper oven heats in mere minutes.
