| Looking into doing my own soil sampling and maintaing/building our own field boundaries. We currently do not use any GIS/mapping software and do not know much about it but looking for a system that is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. We currently have Case IH equipment and have pro 700 monitors and trimble guidance. We also need the potential future software system to be compatible with a Precision Planting 20/20 monitor so that we could use our boundaries to make simulated headlands and plant our end-rows last. Heard some about SMS, Mapshots, AFS, & Farm Works but didnt know if any of these software systems were Ipad friendly to use for soil sampling. Looking for any information or helpful opinions, anything is appreciated. Thanks in advance!! | |
