then for a hard drive a SSD would be quieter, more reliable and WAY faster than a mechanical one - use the 1 TB as data backup and archiver - use a 100G or so SSD for the main computer .......

and yes 99% of the time if you aare on the internet you should be using Windows 10 - not 7 - and ESPECIALLY not IE in Windows 7
