In 1924 the base price of a model T was $300
Wheat prices in 1924 rose from around a dollar a bushel up over $1.50 due to poor crop in Canada. So 200 bushels of wheat would buy a Model T free and clear.
For comparison with inflation that $300 car would cost $3500 roughly today, or 833 bushels of wheat. Of course a $3500 new vehicle today is a stripped down utv, but I suppose that is probably comparable in power, comfort, and function.
