I too wonder how we ever accomplished anything "Before Y Drops" ***

I suspect that Y-drops may be an indicator that previous N applications were either placed poorly(on top of the soil with no inhibitor), timed poorly (fall, or early spring NH3...again with no inhibitor), or other (compaction, etc,etc).

Granted, the above is my opinion at the moment....until I am proved wrong.
