Helps to better understand the hybrid and the soils in YOUR area. Plants behave differently in different soils. How is creating a database of hard data on how different hybrids perform a bad thing? They can have all the data off my farm to lump in with everyone elses if it helps me grow better corn next year. 

When will everyone quit thinking Monsanto has the time or resources to creep on your data? Yes, I believe you agree to being part of an aggregate data pool when you use the product. You also do that every time you log on to facebook, amazon, etc, etc, etc..... Seriously. Monsanto isn't Big Brother. If your biggest concern is Mother Monsanto, you must have a tinfoil hat and live under a rock.
