| Your data is being used, sold, given away. Yes they can not give away or sell farmer x or farmer y or farmer z's individual personal information. But the information from the combination of farmer xyz's data can. They can see instantly for example how many acres of corn was planted on a certain soil type in a certain county and sell that. Furthermore they can see real time harvest information and sell that. This is very useful because all they knew before was how much corn was sold. Now they know where it went, when it went, and its potential. So yes they are correct but lying at the same time. And this is only an example, I don't know exactly what data they want but this is how it is. | |
