Auburn, Indiana | One thing to be careful of is some versions of the Garmin 18 will only output the Garmin Proprietary GPS format. This means they will only work with Garmin software. You need the unit that outputs NMEA 0183 strings. I believe that the USB version only outputs Garmin strings while the serial version outputs NMEA. Take a look at:
