| Not a direct answer, but our two Arctic Cat 400's (~2005's) are more reliable than our Polaris 500 (~2010's). They are also easier to ride than the Polaris. The Polaris has a softer ride, but your hips will hurt after a day of working with it. The seat and foot rests are too wide (and we are 200+ lb, 6'2"+ guys). It's like riding a hippo after a few days of pasture spraying. Truthfully, we hop on the older Cats before the Polaris. I would not be afraid of an Arctic Cat (although you can see we haven't bought a new one for over a decade). They've all come from private sales. |
