Subject: Flying on Cover crop in soybeans, any success?

EC Illinois / WC Indiana

I've got two fields in soy that I'd like to get a CC seeded. Have had success in standing corn, wondering about aerial seeding into soybeans. Corn to follow in 2017.
Thinking sunn hemp, rape, some radish, and oats.
About 80 miles south of Chicago. Mainly sandy loam and sand soils.

My Concerns:
It grows and gets wet delaying harvest and I'm mowing a lawn with the combine.
It doesn't get down to the soil, and it doesn't grow.

Any success or horror stories?
