| The switchbox is very similar to the one used with the insight with the addition of a few switches. One is a master off/on, One is a three position switch with Rate 1, 2, and manual control, and one is a increase/decrease switch. Very similar to a Raven console.
Had the opportunity to see the EZ Boom in action last week at a Trimble meeting. Looks like it is going to work as described. Should be a good entry level product for those not wanting to spend the money involved in setting up the insight with direct command. I really like the 2 tiered approach Ag Leader/Trimble is taking.
I used the Insight this year with Direct Command/Autoswath feature enabled. I think the whole system works great and don't ever want to spray without boom control again. Really takes a lot of the stress out of the job. I also really appreciate the as applied coverage map.
