NW WI | I'm going to be planting a cover crop after wheat...probably spring barley, cereal rye, a legume, and a tillage radish. I'd also like to put some manure on at this time. This field is a no till field so I'm wondering what works best for timing. Should I plant the cover and then spread manure or manure then cover? The cover will be drilled. I don't have manure yet but have access to dairy or turkey. | |
