SC IA | I have a farm I planted to corn this year that I felt the soil was tighter on than other farms. I only say that because anhydrous bar pulled harder and digging for seed seemed a little harder. Can't tell a huge difference in plant health between places though. We'll see I guess when we pick it. It also needs sulfur so I was thinking about trying some gypsum next year but have read mixed feelings on here about that stuff. Base saturations on calcium is 65+ and 14+ on Mg. Would gypsum do any good there. I wouldn't mind trying tillage radishes too but they seem to be pretty hit and miss flying on or planting really late. Anything else to look at on soil tests? | |
