West Central IA | I put the finishing touches on my little tender trailer the other day and hauled a little 32 in it yesterday. I'm happy with how it turned out and am looking forward to mixing chems now!
Main frame- 2x6x1/4
Tank- Norwesco drainable leg tank 1610 gallon
Mix con-e Norwesco 30 gal full drain with hypro jug rinse nozzle.
2" cast hypro pump w honda engine.
Axles- Dexter 10,000lb torfelx torsion ag axles with drum brakes.
Tires- 22.5 low pros
3" quick fill
I wanted to be able to use the pump on the tender to either pull from a stationary tank or obviously fill the sprayer withought having to undo and switch camlock fittings at the pump. I used 2 3-way valves so i can just turn both of those vavles and reverse flow from filling to unloading. I know the extra fittings reduces flow, but it still seems fast enough for me. I also remote located the main valve and throttle so they can be reached while standing at the mix cone. Solar panel on top to keep the battery charged to run bulks. Float valve in lid for filling from garden hose over night. I priced factory built extended deck trailers from agspray and sprayers, but there was so many things I would have wanted to change.
I scaled it empty...any guesses what it weighs??
