west central illinois | Took over a pretty rough pasture thats on the bluff. It had some high tensal and some really junk barb wire. So I fixed the high tensal that was there and put up a lot of just two strand where there was no fence. I fenced around a large ravine that was pretty much worth less for cattle to run in. My I phone says I averaged 7.9 miles a day and 52 flights of stairs in 4 days! The one pic is where I took the Dozer down the bluff to make way for a new fence from what I found on Elevation maps it falls 160ft in about 600 ft. That was a pretty interesting experience! Anyway glad it's done should have room for another 30 pairs. I know it doesn't sound like it would be worth it to some of you guys in big sky country but for us in westcentral Illinois that's a fairly decent pasture! plus it's within walking distance from my farm where I winter the cows.
