Subject: RE: Westfield drill fill auger?

Southeast Wyoming

I have an older Brandt that is just like the Westfield except the Brandt has a hydraulic lift cylinder.  My Westfield had collapsed when I bought it - the farmer said the wife forgot to empty it when moving to another field.  I rebuilt the hinge about like the original, it needs to be stronger.

I bought the Brandt used/abused also, without the hydraulic motor or down spout - I need to get those rounded up.  I robbed the Westfield to get the Brandt running while I rebuild the Westfield.

I think I have pictures of the diverter valve setups published but not linked.  I can link those if anyone wants to see how I did it.

I currently can fill a 41ft Crustbuster drill in probably less than 15 minutes with one move; it is almost "too" fast to work comfortably.  I plan to reinvent the bottom section for the Brandt and mount it to a Grainovator auger wagon that had the bottom auger and gearbox gone when I purchased it.
