Please explain why you have to apply more product per acre running if you do a good job then if you do a sloppy job like you did before. 

   Why did you previously apply a lower rate then the labeled rate to make up for your overlap, but now you think you have to apply a higher rate because you are no longer overlapping?   If you take the sprayer to the field with the same mix and the same settings as you used before, you will be putting on the same amount you were before, and you will finish the field with product left over to use on the next field because you no longer double-applied whatever percentage of the field.  If you are going to mix the load stronger because you are not going to waste whatever percent by double applying, WHY are you going to do this?   Why is it suddenly necessary, in your mind, to use a higher rate then what you have used in the past?   Your entire though process completely defies logic.
