On our largest field, which is 1100 acres, it would save about $5,200 on N for wheat as we constantly overlap roughly 4 feet. This is because we don't currently use an autosteer(trying to get one).


Even with our lightbar it would save about $3,000, as we have to set the implement width to 2.75' smaller than it actually is to ensure our driving will be good enough to avoid misses. This is 3 drill runs that are overlapping.

It may not be the 100 acre field scenario you pointed out but no farm is the same. We have a total of 2 fields that are farmed as 160 acres, the rest is 480+ acres.
