Subject: Found my problem

Dix (Boyd), IL
I do have the ATU turned up to the 12 o'clock position, and I like it there. I was cleaning the accumulated dirt off the floor near the differential switch and found three screws. These had fallen out of the back of the black plastic part of the steering column just below the ATU. There was only one screw left, and it was loose--about to fall apart. It's all tight now and working better. I thought about putting some lock tight on the threads, but I'd hate to have to get those philips screws loose if I had to with them stuck like that.
