Colby, Kansas | If you only putting in enough product for the exact acre amount and adding water to make sure you don't run out of solution then you have been actually under applying all these years. Just as if you used the exact amount of product and cut back on water to make it come out, you are over applying. Each has their own respective weed control or off-label (legality) issues.
Just my immediate observation when reading your post.
On a 100 acre field what type of number are you getting from your controller's tally?
