Where Lewis and Clark finished the rum | yesterday, I tried using an ezguide+ and ezsteer on a JD9600 combine. set swath width at 2 ft, so I could just pick the closest line and go. However, I started about a mile from the master AB line, and EZguide said I was 600 ft off line and was attempting pass 1048 or something like that. This resulted in a "cannot engage" situation. So I moved 600 ft closer to the side of the field nearer the master AB line, and it steered just fine.
I then changed the swath width to 4 ft, and was able to store on both sides of the field.
This leads me to believe that there is a line number limit or something like that in EZGuide. Is this correct, or do I have some other problem I didn't see. thnks |
