| We took out a fence and broke up some ground and now all the ground we gained to crop is a feeding area for geese, this land borders a small lake. Is there anything short of a new fence to keep them out of the cropland? They hatch out young there and this will probl get worse every year. They never seem to bother when there is a fence as they can't walk through the fence with the goslings in tow. Guess goose patrol with some 6 shot would help but don't have time for that. Would alfalfa be a good buffer crop or will it just feed em better?
