Think of what the military has, they were flying rocket powered drones in the first gulf war dropping precision bombs.

Think how their software has developed in the past 20 years......

Consumer drones are pretty lightweight to deliver much of a bomb. I'm not unduly worried about that at this time. A terrorist has to make a big splash, anything on a drone would be flying 20 minutes pretty slow and be a stick of dynamite. Not much of a statement.......

There are some gasoline powered bigger drones out there, they offer some interesting payload weights and longer flight times, but it think those will be better controlled and watched as FAA develops their rules. Also they are a little harder to get ahold of,

The sporting events and prison deliveries have already happened.

Probably the biggest next 'threat' will be a high quality zoom camera on a drone. Today you have to buzz in low and slow and noisy to snoop on your neighbor; better cameras and better jitter controls will change that, and be a more realistic 'bother' to the masses.
