Subject: RE: Drone Insurance

Onalaska WI
The problem of gray area on farms of personal versus commercial use is a common problem. It doesn't just apply to drones; but implements, vehicles and the gray line with the DOT on the semis and farm use and commercial use. The one particular company that has language in the policy addressing Drones has it in there specifically for commercial or "precision agricultural operations." This endorsement was written before the FAA decided to make these things something licensed instead of being a hobby. The licensing is what screwed it up on personal use.
