Frankfort, KS | Thought I would share my project I pieced together using off the shelf parts and a few late evenings. Uses existing trimble monitor w/ centerpoint unlocked to output NMEA to a Arduino micro controller. Micro controller calculates grade based two recorded points then compares that to the scrapers current elevation. It then outputs to a lightbar which tells me to raise or lower the scraper to grade. I spent most of the day fixing terrace waterholes, and so far it's worked awesome.
This is my first time doing anything like this. I still can't believe the thing works. For less than the price of a wire harness, I have the end result of survey grade depth control.
