Ensure the pressure is on the front and back rolls. Should the linkage have a bind point you will have uneven feeding. While chopping stop the rolls when at full feed and look how they compresse and hold the crop for chopping. a solid even "face " for the knives to slice will give a good cut and be energy efficent as well. Is the clearing shield over the gathering chains top sprocket worn off allowing carry over the entry piont by the chains ?
