Take a grinder and put an edge back on the teeth. That'll help feeding tremendously. I'm guessing that what's happend is the teeth have been worn and rounded so they don't get as good a grip on the cornstalks as they did when new. Spend 30 minutes with the grinder dressing up the teeth and it should help quite a bit.
