Agree with Bob on the thread tape,I hate the stuff. I changed a couple of hyd hoses on my GT grain dryer a couple day ago and found ground up thread tape inside the fittings when I removed the pipe thread fitting hoses. I know our local TSC store has a sign in the hydraulics section that says use of thread tape voids all hydraulic warrantee. I prefer the big white pencil like sticks of thread sealer from ACE hardware,it is easy and clean to use and seems to seal any hyd pressure my equipment can generate. I gotta check with my local agriliance store,I know they stock the rhectorseal.
