Subject: RE: Easement for pipeline

They ran a nat gas pipeline across a farm two years ago, paid 3 dollars a foot plus damages figured on county averages for crops. This was south of Marshall for ethanol plant at Malta Bend. Lots of problems with the man doing the easement for Municipal Utilities in Marshall. VERY forceful with the elderly landowners, nagging them constantly. Some landowners did not want to settle for the amount offered, and gas company went higher on them later. Like said in previous post, take your time. I had a small problem with them on repairing tile outlet like you and I would, but after explaining it was taken care of. I have not seen any problem with yield show up on moniter yet, and they did a very professional job with equipment moving dirt. Most of the problems were with wussy doing easement work.
