Subject: Re: '99 AFS Yield Monitor Card Size ?

We had a '99 2366. When we added GPS the guy that sold use the receiver also sold us a 64 meg flashcard & adaptor to use. About 300 acres in to harvest we lost everything, luckily had been downloading to the computer each night so only lost about 100 ac. worth of info. AFS rep told us that anything over 16 meg was too large for the processor & info could be "lost in space" as she called it. At the time CIH was offering a 32 meg card & when our CIH service manager asked the rep about why they were selling it when 16 meg was the max she said they had just recently pulled it off the market. This was in 2001. We had to unit updated every year until we traded for a 2388 last year wAgLeader PF3000 & never heard about being able to use bigger cards.
