NovAtel also has a good GNSS system that works well for elevation control.
The benefit of GPS+GLONASS is more satellites. The only time accuracy is increased is when there are less than 7 GPS satellites available, and the GLONASS adds a few more. For this reason it is a much better system for going near trees. Adding GLONASS adds anywhere from 2-6 satellites throughout the day. We have seen as many as 18 total sats used.
