You don't have an email address listed in your profile so nobody can actually send you an email about anything from this site. By having an email address in your profile you expand the probability of others being able to contact you and offer help or solutions.  

Many times participants prefer to email something privately instead of in public where everyone can see.

If your talking about receiving emails to your computer from anywhere there are various programs that can be used to send and receive them as well as store them on your individual computer. Sort of depends how your internet provider is set up and what type email you have. Ones like Yahoo, Gmail etc are all web based while ones provided by internet providers can be configured different ways.

I guess we need a little more information about what you are wanting to do.
